We are currently looking for Product Security Investigation Manager, APAC. This will be a 1 Year contract, with high potential to renew/ convert to perm.

 

Description and reporting

 

Global Security has recently launched an initiative to proactively address the illicit trade of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) products. A key component of this initiative involves the efficient and effective management of incidents related to the counterfeiting, diversion and/or tampering of J&J products across all four of its regions. To support this initiative, Global Security is seeking an external Contract Investigations Manager to oversee product security investigations in the Asia Pacific  (APAC) region, excluding China. The position will ideally be based in Singapore but other locations may be considered as alternative locations for the ideal candidate. The selectee will be responsible for investigations conducted by 3rd party vendors and report into the Global Security Director for the APAC region. 

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  1. Participate in the triage of product security incidents.
  2. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in determining appropriate investigative and resolution strategies.
  3. Establish clear objectives and action plans for achieving set targets.
  4. Establish and maintain a list of qualified 3rd party investigators within the region.
  5. Assign work to 3rd party investigator vendors.
  6. Review and approve investigative plans (IP) and estimated budgets.
  7. Provide oversight of the investigative process and approve modifications to IPs and budgets as required.
  8. Provide periodic investigative updates to key internal stakeholders.
  9. Coordinate with police agencies on investigations referred for enforcement.
  10. Ensure investigative records are kept up to date and related metrics are appropriately captured in the case management system.
  11. Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments.
  12. Maintain strong liaison relations with internal stakeholders and external partners (Police Agencies, Customs, Health Authorities, Peer Companies).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements & Functional Competencies

 

  1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Law, Criminology, logistics, or equivalent), with 5-10 years of Product Protection/ Investigation experience
  2. ASIS Member (desired); CFE – PCI or other relevant certifications (is a plus).
  3. Advanced product security investigations experience.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to champion new ideas or positions to meet key goals and objectives.
  6. General understanding of investigations-related regulations across the region.
  7. Ability to analyze raw information and keep issues in proportion when under pressure.
